Overview

Momentum is a productivity and study application developed and operated under the name WeGet Studios (“Momentum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It helps users plan goals, run focus sessions, review progress, participate in social features, and personalize their experience.

This Legal page applies to the Momentum mobile app, future desktop or web versions, and related websites or services that link to it. Some features described below may vary by platform, app version, region, or release stage.

Quick summary

We use data to provide your account, sync app features, keep Momentum safe, improve reliability, and—where enabled—show ads. We do not sell your personal information for money.

02
PRIVACY POLICY

How we handle information

We collect and process only the information reasonably needed to operate Momentum, provide the features you choose to use, protect the service, comply with law, and understand how the app performs.

Information we may collect

Account & profile

Name or display name, email address, profile photo, user identifier, sign-in provider, and account settings. If you use Google Sign-In, Google provides the account details you approve.

Productivity activity

Goals, tasks, focus-session duration, timer history, streaks, achievements, progress statistics, preferences, and similar records you create while using Momentum.

Social & community activity

Friend connections, group or community membership, posts, messages, reactions, reports, and other content you choose to share through collaborative features.

Rewards & personalization

Coin balances, rewarded-ad completions, inventory items, avatars, banners, group cards, unlocks, and related transaction history within the app.

Device & service data

App version, device type, operating system, language, timestamps, crash information, diagnostics, security events, and network information such as an IP address.

Support information

Your email address and the content of messages, screenshots, or feedback you send when requesting help or reporting a problem.

How we use information

  • Create, authenticate, secure, and support your Momentum account.
  • Save and synchronize your goals, timer history, progress, settings, rewards, inventory, and eligible social activity across supported devices.
  • Operate friends, groups, communities, notifications, achievements, and other features you choose to use.
  • Deliver and measure advertisements, including rewarded ads, where advertising is enabled and permitted.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, policy violations, and technical problems.
  • Analyze performance and improve usability, stability, accessibility, and features.
  • Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

Permissions and device access

Momentum may request device permissions only when a feature needs them—for example, notification permission for reminders or access selected through the operating system when you choose a profile image. You can manage permissions in your device settings, though disabling one may prevent the related feature from working.

Third-party services

Momentum relies on service providers that may process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Depending on the build and features available to you, these may include:

Google FirebaseAuthentication, cloud database, storage, app infrastructure, diagnostics, and notifications where enabled.Privacy information ↗
Google Sign-InOptional account authentication using the Google account you select.Google Privacy Policy ↗
Google AdMobAdvertising, rewarded ads, fraud prevention, frequency control, and ad measurement where ads are enabled.Ads & data information ↗
App distribution platformsAmazon Appstore, Google Play, Samsung Galaxy Store, Microsoft Store, or another platform may process download, device, payment, and diagnostic information under its own policies.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent. We do not give social content to advertisers for them to post or use as their own.

Advertising and choices

The free version may display banner or rewarded advertisements. Advertising partners may use device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, interaction data, and consent choices to provide, limit, measure, and protect ads. The available controls depend on your region, device, and app version. You can also adjust advertising preferences through your device or Google settings. Premium versions, when offered, may remove some or all ads as described at purchase.

Data retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. We may keep limited records longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, enforcement of our terms, or compliance with law. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

International processing

Our providers may process or store information in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we and our providers use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

Children and younger users

Momentum is a general productivity service and is not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country. If you are below that age, use Momentum only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information, or withdraw consent. You can change some information in the app and can contact us for other requests. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

03
ACCOUNT & DATA DELETION

Request deletion in a few clear steps

You may request deletion of your Momentum account and associated personal data even if you no longer have the app installed. The same instructions are also available on our dedicated account deletion page.

  1. 1
    Send your request

Email support@wegetstudios.in from the email linked to your Momentum account. Use the subject “Delete my Momentum account.” If an in-app deletion option is available in your version, you may use that instead.

  2. 2
    Confirm the account

Include your registered email address and, if helpful, your display name. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account. Never send your password, PAN, Aadhaar, banking details, or other unrelated identity documents.

  3. 3
    We process deletion

We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. We will delete or anonymize the account profile and associated productivity, social, reward, and inventory data unless limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

What may remain temporarily

Residual copies may remain in protected backups for up to 90 days before normal rotation removes them. Content you shared with others may remain visible in limited form if deleting it would affect another user’s records, but it will be disassociated or anonymized where reasonably possible.

You may also ask to delete particular content without closing your entire account. Tell us what you want removed and we will explain the available options.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rules for using Momentum

By accessing or using Momentum, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your country. If you are below the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must review and agree to them where required. You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping access credentials secure, and activity performed through your account.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Momentum for lawful personal productivity or study purposes. You must not:

  • Break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harass others, or post harmful, deceptive, hateful, obscene, or abusive content.
  • Attempt to bypass security, access another account, interfere with the service, scrape data, introduce malware, or reverse engineer Momentum except where law expressly permits it.
  • Manipulate ads, rewards, coins, streaks, rankings, purchases, or referrals; use bots or automated viewing; or exploit defects for an unfair benefit.
  • Impersonate another person or falsely suggest endorsement by Momentum or WeGet Studios.

User content and social features

You retain ownership of content you create. You give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as necessary to operate, secure, and improve Momentum. Content shared in groups or communities may be seen, copied, or reported by other users. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users or the service.

Coins, rewards, and digital items

Coins, avatars, banners, group cards, streaks, achievements, and similar in-app items are limited licenses for use inside Momentum. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable unless the app expressly allows it. Reward amounts, limits, item availability, and balances may change to maintain fairness, prevent abuse, or improve the service. Fraudulently obtained rewards may be removed.

Premium, purchases, and renewals

Premium features or other purchases may be introduced in a later version. If offered, pricing, billing period, included features, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be shown before purchase. Purchases made through an app store are processed and governed by that store’s billing and refund rules. Premium access may be linked to your Momentum account across supported platforms, subject to verification, compatibility, and store requirements.

Third-party services and links

Momentum may depend on or link to third-party services. We do not control their availability, content, or policies. Your use of them may be governed by separate terms.

Service changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable limits, or release platform-specific versions. We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. Keep independent copies of information that is critical to you.

No professional advice

Momentum is a productivity tool. It does not provide medical, mental-health, educational, financial, or other professional advice, and it does not guarantee academic, career, or personal outcomes.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Momentum is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. WeGet Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Momentum at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, abused rewards or advertising, or when necessary to protect Momentum or its users. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or a chance to appeal.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to rights you may have under mandatory consumer law, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in India. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

Changes to this page

We may update this Legal page as Momentum evolves or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or through another reasonable channel. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
